Skull Appreciation Day 2012 Blog Hop

So... this is my 2nd Blog Hop... 

In my Facebook account, I have some jewelry designer/maker/artisan friends. Accidentally, i saw one of my friend 'liked' a page called Skull-a-Day.  And like usual, I always interested with anything related to skull. Curiously, I tried to open the page.. and then of course 'like' it. I browsed the contents... and acknowledged that this page shared a link : Smeared Ink is hosting blog hop for Skull Appreciation Day!
It was just about a week ago I participated in my first blog hop. Then i thought... why not just try another one? Besides, skull is one of my favorite things in the world! I am more than just ready to do my 2nd blog hop! ;)

Some ideas popped up on my mind.. and finally i decided to make a choker & bracelet set. Using blue [one of my favorite colors besides black & white] howlite skull beads, stainless choker, copper jump rings & chains, antique brass flying bat charms, and some more components, here are the results...

I call them Seven Skulls.

      I accidentally saw Sandra McGriff from http://skyescreativechaos.blogspot.ca/ liked the page Skull-a-Day.
      I went there and found this hop... then I join http://smearedandsmudged.ning.com/
      actually they specialized in rubber stamping, but since the event is to celebrate the Skull Appreciation Day, they allow any crafts using skull to be showed off... :)

      Thanks a lot, Donna. I'm sorry that you couldn't see anything in my FB. We have so many crazy people here in Indonesia... they have nothing to do besides hacking & ruining other people's FB pages. So for the sake of security reasons, I set my FB for friends only. If you don't have mutual friend, you cannot access my FB account. Very sorry for the inconvenience.
      But I'm more than happy to have you as my FB friend :) ... please inform me your FB id so I can add you right away.. ;)
      I have Yunikua by Miko fanpage in FB, and it's opened for public. You can check out some of my works there.. :)
      Anyway, I still haven't decided whether I will sell the set or not.. hehehe.. ;D

    FanFREAKINGtastic! I just bought a few of these skull beads at an antique store (I knew they weren't antiques - but super cool nevertheless!) Of course they are sitting in a drawer until I get time to play with them! GREAT job! <3 'em!

      Thanks! Exactly... they're not antiques at all.. hehehe... but what made me in love with those man-made stones is the random shapes of the details... the look is natural..

    BEST project possible! great to use the greenish skull beads with copper...since copper when oxidized turns green. VERY, VERY cool project indeed! I love it :)
